We have most new radios out, but not all. If you have been notified that you are getting a new radio, please make an appointment with 170 to return your old one and get the new. These radios are VERY costly and we would appreciate your efforts to maintain them.
We have had a couple of extremely busy weeks and couple of SLOW weeks. We thank you for all your time spent out on scene!
Summer Party is going to be September 25^th. We moved it back a couple weeks to see if it would be better attended. This is a great opportunity to get together with the other station personnel and families. Again, it will be Hoses & Guns together. Notice, I did not say Guns & Hoses! We anticipate a spirited softball game, so be practicing! This is always a lot of fun and you get to meet the families of our deputies/officers.
We are putting together some SOG’s on using the upstairs sleeping quarters and some much-needed SOG’s on phones/pictures on scene. As these SOG’s are put into place, we will remind you to read and get familiar with them. Hard copies are located in each station and they are on our website. SOG’s are put in place as a guideline to keep you and the district protected from personal liabilities.
