  • ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • THANKS to Mike Johnson for all his hard work and dedication to Central Fire.  Mike is stepping away as the Station 2 captain but will continue to run with Ririe as an EMT/FF.
  • With that being said, the Ririe Captain’s position has been opened and was posted at all stations.  Deadline for applying for the position is Friday, September 11th by 5:00 PM.
  • Thanks to all of you that responded and spent many hours out on calls Monday and Tuesday through that bit of breezy weather we had.  We responded to 23 separate incidents during that time frame.  Only in Idaho!!
  • We are anticipating having a new Medical Director on board with us this month.  We will schedule a District meeting so he can get to know us all.  We are excited to close this deal and bring him on board for introduction.
  • We also need to thank Dr. Larry Curtis for his years with us as our Medical Director.  He is retiring soon and will be stepping away as our off-line medical direction.
  • As seems to be a recurring theme this year, I will again mention the ugly word COVID!! Please remember your PPE on ALL calls and make sure you are documenting the use of PPE in your report narratives.  Stay safe and protect yourself and your families!
